Blind Pavilion
This collaborative project was initiated by a grant from Hunter Douglas and an unlimited source of their solar shading products. The preliminary experimental material and light exploration inspired the full scale fabrication of an inhabitable space. The pavilion is a play on circulation and flow. It conforms and molds itself to the gallery, while bending and adjusting the gallery’s natural lighting conditions. The full scale pavilion was exhibited in the Robert Siegal Gallery, designed by Steven Holl.
